[SciTEK, CBR, pub inv] frogs in Alaska

RE: http://ykalaska.wordpress.com/2007/04/27/frogs/

Thanks for spreading the word. We hope to have participants from all over the Y-K area helping to understand frogs. We’ve had regular participation from a school in Shageluk. Next year I will have staff that will allow visits to towns and villages off the road system to give public talks and generate interest in volunteer participation in out Citizen Science Programs. You can list our easy websites for reference (instead of those long and difficult ADFG ones): www.akfrogs.net, www.akbats.net, www.akloonwatch.net, and www.akcitizenscience.net. All of these programs are community related science programs that are generating data, not just disseminating information. We should have our wood frog updates web page updated later in the week and it shows where around the state volunteers have participated, and also describes in more detail how we are using data gathered by our citizen scientists. Thanks again, Dave »>
