By Heather Blumer (Submitted: 05/06/2008 2:47 pm) I have been working on several alternatives to the the of gravity. After all, among the other forces in physics, electromagnetic, strong interactions and the weak interactions, gravity is arguably the least understood. One of my alternative theories is the theory of “malicious falling.” When a body (be it a person, a rock, an asteroid or the moon – as in orbital motion) falls, it is not because of gravity, but rather it is due to a universal entity, let’s call it “the manipulator.” Under this new theory, things fall because the manipulator maliciously wants them to fall. The theory is almost complete and I am planning on demanding equal time in classrooms where intelligent design creationism is taught. And stickers in textbooks where necessary in other school districts. The theory is almost complete, as it has only required a minimal amount of gathering of data, facts, observations, and other necessary components of a scientific theory. I have gathered a few pictures of people tripping over an uneven sidewalk (possibly made uneven by the manipulator) and a picture of the meteor crater in Arizona. After that, I think it is ready to go! No F= G (M)(m) /r^2 for our kids anymore! Anyone else have other theories? The more theories that completely lack any scientific merit, the better!
